What is the webinar about?

During this 3-day webinar we will try to understand and gain knowledge about social mechanisms: How to be an active in building and develop better societies? How to keep our effectiveness long-term without becoming disheartened? We will talk about and get to know through diverse excercises the nature of leadership, negotiation, public discussion and power. We will offer a model for organizing civil actions and techniques for creating active and confident citizens who have the necessary culture to participate, build trust, take responsibility, negotiate and unite people.

The training includes role-plays, exercises, discussions, group work, exchange of experience and a task for preparation before the last part.

In order to connect with each other better, even behind the screens, and to make our experience more fruitful we advise you to join the webinar with camera and microphone.

Who is it for?

The training is aimed at representatives of CSOs, community groups, movements, activists who are dedicated to their causes and are trying to contribute to the well-being of our society and environment.

Which topics will be covered?

  • We will go into the relationships – personal, private and public; with ourselves and those in power; short-term and long-term ones. Through a roll-play we will practice how to establish new relationships and try out how to connect with other people.
  • What the power is and the meeting with it looks like, how to prepare and what to expect. We will experience the clash with the absolute power.
  • We will look at civil society from three different angles. And we will face the truth of why the efforts of CSOs seem like an incessant struggle against an invisible and destructive opponent.
  • What does it mean to act – do we see the big picture, how and what are we preparing for, what are we doing, do we value our time and efforts, do we learn from our successes and failures, do we perfect ourselves?

Who will be the trainer?
