The main purpose of the Human Forum event since its begning has been to find answers to the question of whether democracy in Slovakia and Europe is under threat. As in the last 2 years, the conference was held in cooperation with the Ekopolis Foundation within the project Reclaim Our Civic Space!

The international conference Urban Areas as Space for Implementation of Sustainable Policies was held on November 28 and 29 in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
We aim to convince decision makers that the issue of civil society needs to be on the agenda of the European Commission for 2023.
The conference aimed to expand awareness about how the involvement of non-governmental non-profit organizations, in cooperation with the state administration, contributes to effective governance.
Around 70 people from the Western Balkans, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic attended the “Truths that are denied” regional conference. The conference gathered journalist, activists, CSOs and nonformal movements as well as speakers from the Western Balkan region around the topics of transitional justice, shrinking civic and public space, the spread of propaganda and media freedoms.
